Has anyone ridden CW in the last couple of days since it re-froze? Just wondering if it was badly rutted up during the thaw and now is ruined with frozen ruts...

Building on that theme...anyone know how much snow Castlewood received Friday night, 1/29? Totals seem quite different throughout the region. Thanks

Quite a few people out in the park today enjoying the fresh snow while it lasted. The frozen ruts on love trail were a problem for me. The first one took my front wheel off the trail and the second one guided my front wheel into a sapling after I lost grip in a turn. The snow was melting by the time we ended our ride around 12:30. The road to the boat ramp was closed, but joggers and bikes could still enter the river trails on the left side under the RR tunnel. And; after almost three weeks off the bike, everything today was uphill!
Downhills are fun! Uphills keep you young!
