The West Tyson side of Chubb is perfectly tacky after the rain. If we get more this evening, Monday will probably be out for riding. The Lone Elk / flat side of the park had some muddy spots and I turned around about 200 yards in.

There is a tree down about 1/3 of the way down the main hill, coming from West Tyson. It is about 100 yards before the steps if coming down. There are a few branches placed against it so it can be ridden over but it kills off about half your down hill speed. It could be cut with a hand saw but it would take a while.

Yeah, we saw that tree on Saturday. Tried to move but was still attached at trunk. So we threw the branches to make it ride-able.

And then Mr. Meyer [:o)] played hide-and-seek in the rain without telling me we were playing. He snuck down the mid-Chubb cutoff down to the lower lot and never showed up at the big ditch. I worried like his mother, but I got some good wet rock and root skill training in while looking for him.
