Has anyone hiked the lower part lately? I am planning on taking some scouts out and the lower section is absolutely perfect for a young beginner. Now if it could have a chance to dry up a bit...

The lower section is closed due to the danger of the trail abruptly ending. The lower trail is missing a couple of sections of trail due to Big Creek eroding it away. We will be trying to get out and reflag/build new trail if it ever dries out?

I'm in to help, if it ever dries out. If I wanted all the rain we have had over the last year, I'd move back out to Portland or Seattle.
