Ran/hiked a portion of Chubb this morning ((1/1/14; was off the trail by 1:00 p.m.).

Chubb trailhead (CW) to picnic table had < 3 spots that would've required dismounting if on a bike.  All were "less than a bike length long" sections of thawed ground that was greasy.  Picnic table - Flint Quarry - connector - trailhead had < 5 spots that were greasy enough to suggest walking if on a bike.  The longest may have been 10'.

Several trees (that have been previously reported) are down, and ride-arounds have been formed.  There didn't appear to be any new deadfall.

I did NOT go down the hill towards the "steps", hit the bottoms, or check out the LW side.
