St. Louis County Parks opens the Chubb Trail for night rides the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The trail is open but guides are NOT available so call a friend or form a group. If you want to join a group that regularly goes but starts at an earlier time or will circle back for the start times below, contact msmodo on the forum to get set up.

St. Louis County Parks & Recreation will open the Lone Elk trailhead gates but the West Tyson parking lots will be closed at sunset.. (You can also park at the Allen road lot* at the railroad tracks off of Lewis Rd.) Chubb is recommended for Advanced and Expert Riders. Use your own discretion regarding weather and trail conditions. They do not post trail closings. Please do not ride the trails if they are muddy.

All the dates listed above are around New Moon dates. Not full moon. Is this accurate? In the past moonlit chubb rides have coincided with the "full moon". Please clarify.

I don't know myself. The pic of the "monthly chubb ride" is from STL county's website itself so unless they got their own dates wrong, that's what I'm going by.
