The spring trail building season has wrapped and now it's time to celebrate!
Join GORC and Bike Surgeon as we throw a party to celebrate a successful spring trail building season and to raffle off the Specialized Fatboy that Bike Surgeon has donated to the club. Food and beverages will be on hand, too! GORC might have some swag on hand to raffle off as well.
We also would like one last group effort to beat down the honeysuckle beast-growth that enroaches the SIUE trails each summer. We are meeting at 1pm and trimming until 3:30pm. Most people will be weedwhacking and lopping. A small crew will go to the maintenance road washout and rework it and there are 3-4 small trees down that will need a sawyer/swamper team. It will probably be hot so we don't expect anyone to work themselves to exhaustion. Pre or post-ride at your discretion.

Date: May 30th, 2015, Saturday - 1 - 3:30pm trail maintenance at SIUE, Party starts at 5 and the raffle will be around 6pm(ish). Party goes till... If you can't attend both the trail event and the party, please come on out to one of them or at least make the party!
Where: Bike Surgeon in Shiloh, Illinois. They are only 15 minutes from the Arch and have an awesome shop.
Remember that in order to have an opportunity to win you need to have attended (and signed in the general attendance sheet) at least one social event or trailbuilding event AND be a CURRENT paid GORC member. Make sure you are a member if you want to take home this $2,100.00 fun bike.
