sorry to hear you are getting worse caleb - hopefully you got some good drugs and have rebounded by work day! here are the notes from the rest of our ride through:
Trail 3- there were some sections that had been marked with green ribbon - those all need to be hit. At the top of the hill with the corkscrew switchbacks (before you intersect with trail 4 if going counter-clockwise) there are those 3 dips that keep filling with water. thinking that area could use a re-route further up the hill. Otherwise 3 is in pretty good shape. would use some general de-berming on the low sides. We did not ride the piece from trail 4 to Poag road trailhead.
Trail 4 - trail pretty good - could use general de-berming on low sides. there is a section close to the bike path end that people have started to route around as the roots are pretty tricky - maybe take out roots or re-route?
Trail 7 - trail pretty good, but from trailhead furthest from bike path - on the first switchback - the outside corner could use some clean up - there is a small wall building up with dirt and leaves which wont drain well.
Trail 8 - we did some maintenance a week ago - going counter-clockwise to a little past the intersection with the 2nd loop that was put in. so that area has been de-bermed pretty good. but the rest of the trail could use low side deberming as time permits
Trail 2- on the last work day it looks like a lot of trenches were dug to help drainage - but its not how we would have done it - but not sure if we can say that they will be ineffective either. just not how we would have tackled it. not aesthetically pleasing to look at - but again maybe that is just us! would recommend one of the more expert trailbuilders take a look and see what you think.
let us know if any questions!
