This is an area where we can plan and discuss the 2016 First Sunday rides.

 

Rain, Freeze / Thaw and time change announcements, etc.
 

 

This rides takes place at Greensfelder at 10am. We meet in the Visitor's Lot on Allenton Rd.  It is the loop parking lot at the intersection of Allenton and Hencken.  

 

Look for a bunch of mountain bikers and if you don't know anyone in the group, ask if they are with the GORC First Sunday ride.  

 

I-44 to Exit 261/Six Flags, right onto Allenton Rd. Follow Allenton up the hill to Hencken Rd. Turn right into the Visitor's Center across from Hencken Road.

This Sunday 2/7/16, we will do gravel route at GF.  We have about 10 riders going, including a few beginners.

Mark D has a route that he passed along.  We may get 6 or 7 miles in.  If I have time, I'll post it.  Probably a lot of climbing and a couple repeats.

Today's GORC ride is cancelled due to the RED warning on the Trails Conditions page, however, I will be there at some point to check out conditions myself.
