Trees reported down ...

- Spring Valley, rt @ 1st intersection from school entrance, ~4" tree down at 1st left switchback,

- Spring Valley, lft @ 1st intersection from school entrance, ~12" tree down (distance from intersection unknown),

- Bluff Side, location unknown,

Please fill in further details if you get out to the trails; I won't be able to make it out until Saturday afternoon, and would appreciate someone posting if they can either take care of the trees, or provide more information on their locations.

Thanks!

Got off the trail about 3:45, conditions as of that time ...

Spring Valley, Outer Loop: clear of trees, hero dirt for 99% of trail.

Going CCW from school entrance - wet leaves (and perhaps silty run-off) collecting in the center of the tread for ~40' on the 1st downhill after the Inner/Outer Loop intersection.

The usual soft spot on the double track above the cave, before you hit the ST again.

Short soft spot ~ 500' from the school entrance spur intersection w/the Outer Loop.  Blue pin flags conveniently on the right side of the trail in that area.

Spring Valley, Inner Loop: NOW clear of trees, dirt soft enough to smooth tread, but NOT soft enough to identify tire treads/rut trail surface.  Still fun, but like riding with low tire pressure in some places.  "High" side of the bowl - in the leaves - is too soft to be enjoyable ... needs more tires (hint, hint, hint).

In general, LOTS of foot traffic on both trails.  Also, Team Revolution will be hosting a ride on the Spring Valley side Sunday morning @ 8:30.  Please pace your rides accordingly.

Edit: multiple pencil diameter deadfall sticks/branches on both loops of trail - LISTEN for branches getting sucked into your rear wheel, before it turns your ride into a single speed experience due to forcibly removed rear ders.

Added soft spot above cave on double track to Outer Loop description.

Craig, thanks for taking care of the trees on Spring Valley.

I worked on Bluff Trail Thursday and it's clear of trees and drains are cleared.

Should be good to go.

Large tree down on inner loop, perfect head knocking height and will sneak up on you going clockwise.

Anyone have any further information on the location of the tree? We will address this ASAP, but knowing WHERE the downed trees are helps tremendously when we're tight on time.

Thanks!

Quickest route left on spring valley from school entrance. Right on inner loop connector, right on inner loop , 100 yes up trail.

Thanks for the heads up on the tree.

John from the  park took care of clearing it, thanks John!

All Spring Valley side trails are clear and in great shape.
