dead fall details::: Brazil Creek to Berryman Campground: at .5 miles, 3 people should be able to pull the log downhill to get off the trail, at 1.2 miles-3-4 people should be able to maneuver the log off the trail, at 5.5 miles a dogwood is up rooted, 1 decent hand saw and 3 minutes will remove this baby. I was able to get all the large wind debris off the trail and took care of a lot of eye pokers and saplings hanging over the trail. The 2 big dead falls on the west side were removed as well, thanks to MJ for swamping, now you can let er rip on the switch backs heading to Brazil Creek. the cupped sections were holding leaves and some water which gets you muddy, a couple hoofed sections were also holding water. All in all a great day, Due to time constraints I turned back at Berryman campground, Im guessing the section back to Brazil was about as good. Sunday is the pick of the week weather wise, Get out and ride !!!
