St. Louis County Parks opens the Chubb Trail for night rides the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The trail is open but guides are NOT available so call a friend or form a group. If you want to join a group that regularly goes, contact msmodo on forum to get set up.

St. Louis County Parks & Recreation will open the Lone Elk trailhead gates but the West Tyson parking lots will be closed at sunset. (You can also park at the Allen road lot* at railroad tracks off of Lewis Rd. and lately we have parked at the Route 66 parking lot on Lewis Rd., opposite the park entrance which is lit by street lights).

Chubb is recommended for Advanced and Expert Riders. Use your own discretion regarding weather and trail conditions. Helmets required and minimum 400 lumens recommended. Do not ride if trails are muddy.
