Adventure biking!
We biked Northbound Between the Rivers section - Ozark Trail from Sinking Creek Tower TH to Hwy C and gravel loop back.

Tread conditions - Um yeah, mostly, all leaf covered. ankle to knee deep. Slow riding at times, tread finding at speed on a bike is much different than walking.
Corridor hunting skills are required for this trip. Lack of visible tread at times makes riding sloooow.
Fatter tires the better. There are acouple 1/2 mile long rock gardens to navigate, a few sections with some rock step downs. Wish I had a dropper post.

The OTA Sawyer report has correctly stated this section has lots of trees down. We moved a couple dead fall, other than that, this needs an end to end sawying.

Navigation Trouble area around Cotham pond. We missed the trail leaving the pond damn northbound.(Turn Right!)
Large deadfall on North side of pond.
PS.. the pond is empty as it appears it was drained...maybe this is old news.
Oh and we also missed the trail getting started at the Tower connector trail...we kept following the doubletrack agian...

We rode from the Sinking Creek Tower TH to Hwy C and then took the gravel tour just to the north that swings back thru bear pen hollow on the return leg.

All total 30 mile loop @2800', Extra slow at 7.5 Hours on the bike. This section needs maintenance. I am typically against the practice of leaf blowing, however, it doesn't appear as this trail gets enough traffic to be concern about freeze thaw.... besides leaf blowing this might create even more of that moss covered tread.
I am volunteering a day to walk the trail with the backpack blower. Who wants some?

A couple sections where the canopy is open could use a trim come summer...or now.(very short like 50' sections)

Aside from some minor maintenance needs this was a great loop. The creek crossings were mostly hike a bike due to rockyness, the rest was great. Expect some great technical mountain biking from the Between the Rivers section!
