Unexpected emails from gorc about memberships

I have received 2 emails in the last 3 days from the website saying I reinstated membership.  I haven't initiated a membership renewal so I thought someone should know about this.  After the first email I checked the website and my membership was still expired. The second one (timestamped this morning while I was sleeping) apparently went through and I am an active member again.  

 

I checked the routing on the email and it looks legit.  If anyone wants to investigate this I can forward the 2 emails so your tech folks can check it out.

Hi,

 

It appears when you originally signed up you opted for the recurring membership which paypal autobills every year. I don't think there's a glitch per se but I can look into it.

 

I just sent out packets this morning, with you being one that came through.

It says I paid by check which I didn't.  The first email said I was renewing for a family membership when I have been individual.    If I had been recurring then it would have been paypal but I don't show a transaction nor do I see a payment agreement.  Something seems a little glitchy.
