We hiked out of the parking lot today to do some much needed trail maintenance and drain cleaning.

CCW out of the parking lot, this is the tree at the 180* switchback right before the cutoff. (#2 on the map)

Unfortunately this was the tree the switchback circled around and it is up at the rootball. Right now the tree just needs removed.

Trail is in OK shape but the divet out of the middle may promote drainage issues in that area. This trail in this spot is a deep rut

now anyway so we were scoping the area for a future reroute.

We hiked the Matson Hill Loop and part of Oxen Mill. 90% to 95% of the trail is rideable but the wet spots are very muddy. We cleaned

out debris piles from the drains to help the areas dry out faster.
