I really enjoy watching your videos, What I don’t get is why the promoter felt the need to spray orange paint on the rocks and roots on the course.  It may be water solvable but looks like S%^T until it wears off.

ahhh, thank god BS doesn't promote MTB races, It would take a couple bus loads of taggers to paint all the trail obstacles.

It’s usually only big hazards. Like a hole that will swallow a wheel or root that will destroy a rim or cause an OTB scenario. Gotta remember, the majority of CX racers are roadies. Not used to the rocks and roots.

I'm not sure that Big Shark painted them, it could have been done for a trail run, i've seen orange on some of the singeltrack trails that also host trail running events.
