We need a way to close trails when they get muddy, bikes and horses damage trails when ridden in muddy conditions.I was at Greensfelder  early when trail was frozen and saw a lot of damage on the trail that will take a long time to repair. I would volunteer to post trails closed to bikes and horses if the county would allow that.

thanks Gary

It would be a great thing if the parks had the staff to open and close trails. This comes up every freeze/thaw season. It's very frustrating to see people out there recreating when the trails are muddy. This club gets made fun of on a regular basis for us advocating against riding muddy trails. It's a shame.

I know that Bryan has held discussions with STL CO regarding closing the trail. I'll ask him to respond.
