Hey Folks,

Our friendly neighborhood clean up guy (Joe) has moved 15-16 automobile tires up to the trail on the south loop of Bangert Island. We would like to get these moved up to the trailhead so that St Charles County Parks Maintenance personnel don't have to remove any trees to get their equipment back to remove them...If someone could come up with a good way to do this...please help with suggestions? Thanks

BOB trailers !!! should be able to lay at least 2 tires flat on one tie them down and ride on out. I have one trailer here. It only does 26" wheels. I also have an old Winchester kiddie trailer but not sure if the width would be too much for the trail.

I think the BOB trailer might work ok. We have tried the wheel barrow before and it wasn't very effective. When the ground freezes and we can get to the island we will try the BOB trailer idea. Thanks

How 'bout we just tie a long rope to the seatpost of a couple of the fast guys and give some ca$h to the first man to drag it out of the woods!! Just like a tractor pull...yeeeeehaw![:p] If they'd wear dresses we could really call it "drag racing"[:X]...double-entendre style!

Leave it to the PIMP to come up with the best idea ever. I'll try to drag a dozen. [;)]

The BOB trailer worked fine but could only get one wheel and tire in the trailer at a time. We moved the wheels and tires, and large bag of trash up to the trailhead sign.

Man, that sounds like it was a lot of work. Thanks! That's 15-16 fewer mosquito-breeders on Bangert... nice.
